According to the different processes of the sewage treatment plant, the optimal flow rate of the mixer should be between 0.15~0.3m/s. If the flow rate is lower than 0.15 m/s, the pushing and stirring effect will not be achieved, and the flow rate over 0.3 m/s will affect the process effect and cause waste. Therefore, before the selection, the places of submersible mixer are determined, such as sewage tank, sludge tank and biochemical tank; then the parameters of the medium, such as suspended matter content, viscosity, temperature, PH value, and the shape and water depth of the pool. The supporting power required by the mixer is determined according to the volume, the density of the mixing liquid and the mixing depth, and one or more mixer are used according to the specific situation.
